When it comes to Jiaxing, it may not be as well-known as Shanghai and Beijing, but it has been developing very fast in recent years.

Jiaxing will introduce more than 20 well-known brands to open their first China store, Zhejiang store and Jiaxing store in Jiaxing and strive to increase the total retail sales of social consumer goods in the city by 4.5%.

In response to the national call for environmental protection and green development, Jiaxing is taking advantage of its own hydrogen energy to develop related industries. Hydrogen energy is the world's largest reserves, with high combustion efficiency and no greenhouse gas emission. In order to speed up energy transformation and upgrading and foster new economic growth points, the city decided to pay more attention to hydrogen energy.
Jiaxing, one of the first pilot cities in Zhejiang to develop the hydrogen energy industry, successfully joined the national Fuel Cell Vehicle Demonstration Application Shanghai City Cluster in August 2021. With a strong industrial foundation of new chemical materials such as hydrogen, Jiaxing's industrial by-production is one of the regions most abundant resources in Zhejiang Province. The city's existing industrial by-production capacity of hydrogen is 48,000 tons/year.

It is reported that up to now, Jiaxing city has purchased and using 411 fuel cell vehicles, including 230 buses, and the total number of hydrogen vehicles in the city accounts for 70% of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in the province.
At present, the city gathered a total of 37 hydrogen-related enterprises, covering hydrogen production, purification, storage and transportation, fuel cell key parts, hydrogen stations, vehicle production and operation services, basically forming a relatively complete hydrogen energy industry development ecological chain.

As an important guarantee for the application of hydrogen energy, hydrogen refueling station is the key infrastructure for the commercialization of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Construction Bureau said that Jiaxing will continue to speed up the demonstration application of fuel cell vehicles, promote the construction and operation management of hydrogen refueling stations. By 2025, 20 to 30 hydrogen refueling stations will be laid out in the whole area of the city.
